First sample photo's from Panasonic's DMW-GFC1 Fisheye Screw on Conversion Lens for the Micro 4/3 14mm 2.5 pancake lens.
You can finally get your hands on the new dmw-gfc1 screw-on fisheye conversion lens from Panasonic for the 14mm 2.5 (H-H014) pancake and 14-42 lens (H-PS14042). It converts the 14mm (75 degree angle of view) to a 120 degree angle of view. It does this with almost no distortion that is common with screw on conversion lenses. There is distortion in the far corners of the lens but it is minimal. For video, in 16x9 mode, these corners are cropped, elimination the distortion. By contrast, the 7-14mm lens, although not a fisheye, is only a 114 degree field of view and will cost you about $1,000. The screw on runs you about $150.
